The whole database — every spec for every club and shaft — as one open file. Free to use, adapt, and share, including commercially, under CC BY-SA 4.0. No signup, no gate. The point of an open database is that you can actually take it.

One JSON document keyed by category, each record carrying its full spec set. It's the expert-curated catalog; community contributions layer on per-record on the live site (a contributions-merged export is on the roadmap). For per-category programmatic access, the /api/equipment-db/<category> endpoints are public and rate-limited.
Licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. You can use it anywhere — including in a commercial product — as long as you (1) credit it and (2) keep your version open under the same license. That second condition is deliberate: it means this community's work can never be enclosed in a closed product, by anyone — us included.
